ISO 27001 Certification

NCS client providing trading technology and software for global financial institutions and brokers. As the company expands its reach and expands its base, potential clients seek re-assurance regarding the client’s commitment to on-going best practice security practices. The client has three offices and 50-75
employees.

The client concluded that formal ISO 27001 certification would help them achieve the appropriate level of recognition with existing and potential customers especially larger firms that simply require such certifications before considering a relationship with any new vendor.

NCS with its partners were engaged to implement an “accelerated certification” program which prepared the client for formal ISO 27001 certification. This freed the client to continue running their business while preparing rigorously for the actual audit. The process took about 60 days at which point the client engaged an NCS recommended auditing firm. Formal ISO 27001 certification was granted within 30 days from that point.
